The Basix Linen Quilt in Ayrton is a classic antique white.
Our softened pure linen bed cover offers a subtle design that features a delicately embroidered repeat embellishment and a simple seam edge. All stitching work is done in our Sable hue. Our new size of 250x260 has been designed intentionally to generously drape over a Queen or King sized bed.
Our linen bed cover is designed to complement a layered bedscape and works beautifully with our Flocca Linen Flat Sheets.

COMPOSITION: 100% luxuriously soft pure linen, poly fibre fill

FIBRE: Please note this item is not made from our premium yarn-dyed linen but from a finer weave, which has been piece-dyed to better suit its construction. As a result, the colouring may differ slightly from your bedding linen of the same hue.
WEIGHT: 170 gsm
FINISH: Prewashed and shrunk for softness
COLOUR: Please note that HMCo linen is prewashed and softened to achieve a natural aged patina. Colour within any one article can be muted in places as a result. This is not a fault in our linen. It is done with intention to achieve our relaxed, aged style.
Pending on availability, the European flax used to spin our yarns can vary from the grower. This can at times affect the dye lot within our yarns. Dye lot variation is common in processing natural fibres. Whilst we do our utmost to avoid this there can at times be slight variances to any colour within the HMCo range. We have offered some additional descriptions of our linen palette that may assist you when selecting a colour.
Care
WASH: Dry-clean professionally or use a gentle machine wash (less than 40 degrees) in a commercial-sized, front-loading machine with mild liquid detergent. Avoid overfilling the machine so the product can move freely during the wash, and do not use a machine with an agitator. To maintain the colour and integrity of your linen, we advise not to use bleach or detergents with optical brighteners or the enzyme cellulase and avoid exposure to continual direct sunlight.
DRY: Our Basix Linen Quilt should be tumble-dried at low heat.
